No matter what it is dong outside, you need to make sure that your kids are protected and are wearing the appropriate clothes to protect them at all times of the year. No matter if it is a winter snowstorm or a hot day in the middle of August, you need to be ready for anything. This means you need to look at the weather report as well as use some common sense to know whether a light jacket will be appropriate or if you will simply need to sent them to school in a t shirt and jeans. As is the best case, you can always take something off, but if you do not have you cannot put it on.
Do not be afraid of your kids. You know what is best for them and in all actuality you would rather they be safe then sick. That means they need to be dressed for the weather. No one wants to wear boots to school, but we do it because it makes sense. No one wants to put on a hat and gloves, yet we do it because it is what is best for us and will keep us warm and safe. Our kids do not get this, they are more concerned with how they look, not how they feel. That leads to a lot more problems and lowered immunity that one would think. Getting the right clothes for the winter is the best way to be ready at all times.
In the summer you need to be just as careful. The sun can be just as damaging to you as the cold can be. Consider the damage that can be caused by sunburn and simple exposure to the sun. You need to be able to protect yourself from the sun by using the right clothes and the right type of skin protection to keep your kids healthy and cancer free. Dressing and protecting your kids for all seasons will give you peace of mind and will let you be able to protect your children all year long.
