Parenting Is Not Easy. Think Twice Before Becoming A Parent

People often advise youngsters to think very hard before becoming a parent. Once you become a parent, you lose the option of going back on your commitments. You cannot tell your young child that you have certainly changed your mind and that you are not interested in being a parent, right?

Being a parent means tackling many issues in a sensible and mature manner. Take education for example. It is important to focus on marks, grades and academic excellence. However, it is equally important to tell the child that there is something more to education than just marks and grades.

The child, like all others, will take the easiest route will try to do all that is necessary to make you happy. Bad grades is obviously going to lead to censure and criticism. Good grades will make the child believe that he or she has done a good job. In such a scenario, to explain that mere good grades will not suffice can be very confusing. He will have to inculcate the right attitude towards education.

This is the reason why children are encouraged to participate in many extracurricular activities. Children are advised to sing, dance, play games, act, write puzzles and explore their creativity in many ways. All these tasks are aspects and facets of education. If you want to help your child do good job, it is obvious that you will have to realize that education is something beyond plane school teaching.

You must have realized by now that all these tasks require comprehensive analysis and rethink on your part. Failure to do so will only complicate matters for the child.
